Mission

Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine - Nile Valley University seeks excellence in education to prepare dentists capable of fulfilling their professional and research duties to serve the community and improve oral and dental health.

Strategic Plan

The study at the College of Oral and Dental Medicine aims to achieve the following strategic goals and objectives:

(1) continuous development of the educational program to suit the requirements of the labor market by setting the following strategic goals:

1. Establishing a system for international review and development of the educational program and courses.

2. Reviewing the faculty’ s teaching, learning and evaluation strategies .

3. Developing clinical training (performance and evaluation).

4. Developing multiple methods to evaluate all targeted educational outcomes.

5. Supporting students' self-learning.

(2) continuous development of student support and communication with graduates by setting the following strategic goals:

1. Reviewing and developing the academic advising system.

2. Developing cultural and sports support activities for students.

3. Developing the health and social support system for students.

4. Developing a plan to attract international students.

5. Developing graduate services.

(3) continuous development of the capabilities of faculty and staff, the third strategic goals:

1. Developing a plan and training programs for faculty members and workers.

2. Establishing a mechanism to fill the deficit by concluding and activating cooperation protocols with surrounding universities to register the assistant body for postgraduate studies.

3. Establishing a system for continuous evaluation.

4. Working to increase the satisfaction of faculty and staff.

(4) Promoting and developing scientific research, strategic goals of the fourth goal:

1. Working on creating a research database for faculty members at the faculty.

2. Establishing the faculty’ s scientific journal.

3. Developing field training for researchers and participating in research projects.

4. The ongoing training center being established in the clinics building.

(5)Promoting and developing community participation. strategic goals of the fifth goal:

1. Working to conclude and activate more community partnership contracts.

2. Promoting the dissemination of a culture of community participation.

3. Developing field training for students with the participation of community parties.

4. Benefiting from the opinions of community parties.

(6) Promoting and developing scientific research, strategic goals of the fourth goal:

1. Developing and modernizing the infrastructure of the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine’s clinics

2. Enhancing the capabilities needed to care for patients.

3. Reviewing and developing the electronic system for patients.

4. Developing a system for measuring patients’ satisfaction with the quality of service provided to them.

5. Spreading the culture of strategic planning.

6. Developing the organizational structure of the faculty and clinics.

7. Working to raise the credibility of the faculty and clinics and publishing the professional ethics guide.

8. Establishing transparent accounting and accountability systems.

9. Strengthening the quality assurance unit with human resources and financial capabilities.

10. Preparing to obtain academic accreditation from the National Authority for Educational Quality Assurance and Accreditation.

The Faculty Council may, with the approval of the University Council, the Supreme Council of Universities, and the Council of Private and Private Universities, establish new scientific departments that keep pace with developments in applied health sciences technology.

Academic Degrees

The Faculty of Applied Health Sciences Technology - Nile Valley University awards a degree Bachelor’s degree in Applied Health Sciences Technology based on credit hours in one of the following programs:
